Sales Manager

As a Sales Manager at Trek Bicycle Store – UAE, your day to day tasks will include (however not limited to):

  • Opening and closing of the store
  • Ensuring the store is presentable for the day ahead
  • Ensuring that there is sufficient stock on the sales floor
  • Managing the sales floor staff
  • Reporting to management
  • Friendly and Helpful customer service
  • Assisting with returns / warranties
  • Assisting with customer complaints
  • Completing sales on the POS system
  • Meeting prescribed targets
  • Product knowledge of all brands

Candidates should have a minimum of 2 years’ experience within the cycling industry or in a similar role, with the following skills:

  • Good track record of customer service
  • Leadership skills
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills when dealing with customers and the ability to explain technical detail to customers
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Goal orientated
  • Basic merchandising knowledge
  • An understanding of, and passion for, bikes and associated products/accessories

  • Servicing / repairing all ranges of bicycles from kids’ bikes, mountain bikes, road bikes and TT Bikes
  • Building bicycles for sales floor
  • Correct ordering procedures for spares required in the workshop for bicycle repair
  • Friendly and Helpful customer service
  • Completing Job Orders
  • Reporting to management
  • Maintaining a safe and tidy work place
  • Meeting prescribed targets
  • Product knowledge of all brands

  • Overseeing daily operations of sales floor and service centre and ensuring all staff complete their daily tasks

  • Stock transfers from the warehouse
  • Placing orders when stock items are low
  • Assist sales floor staff and service centre staff with any issues
  • Reporting to management

  • Compiling weekly and monthly progress reports
